Mr Jourdain


The idea was to turn the restaurant into a centrepiece of the existing hotel and to make it into one of the most attractive places in the city, to assure that it is not just a restaurant where hotel guests take their breakfast, but a place appreciated by the people of Barranquilla. To attract locals we built on what moves them: the cool; fashion (elegance, eclectic and punk rock); bourgeois life abroad; novelty; and word-of-mouth Barranquillero.

Skyliving


A project whose difficulty was the complexity of the conditions of the very steep site terrain, the two existing apartment buildings and the partly uncovered basement car park, added to numerous requirements for the functionality of the residents’ common outdoor spaces.

Connaught Place


A singular elegant transparent tower of luxury apartments rises above a lush garden that conceals a myriad of facilities beneath. Concentric planning of a functional core and spacious apartments with centralised service areas achieves an uninterrupted façade. Natural illumination and ventilation (aided by the double skin) are therefore maximised, as are the views over New Delhi.

WSTR Office


This project was conceived as a provisional office located on one of the townhouses row designed by TCHV. It will be used not only as the sale office but also as the HQ for the group in Dubai. It needed to be fully profesional looking while being affordable and easy to convert back to townhouse once all the units are sold.



Autumn Garden


The main house was built 15 years ago and since then no works had been done in the garden. It was left to grow wild, which can be nice, but repeated floods kept diminishing the greenery. Our proposal just drew a corridor crossing the property, to allow natural draining, and excavated a recluded room shaded by the trees.
